This inaugural Wessex Emergency Medicine Conference & Awards is the natural evolution from the WEMIEAs (Wessex Emergency Medicine Innovation & Excellence Awards) that has been held as an evening event since 2022.
The WEMIEAs began as a regional opportunity for EM trainees and non-trainees to present their Quality Improvement Projects and for us as a speciality to celebrate the amazing and innovative work we do, and the incredible people that do it in this region.
Following the success of these previous events, this year we launch the all day conference, which will stay true to the original goal of celebrating the outstanding staff of our Emergency Medicine teams and the innovative work they do to improve our departments.
We look forward to welcoming you to the Hilton Utilita Bowl for WEMCA 2024. We have a fantastic programme covering a variety of hot topics in EM and healthcare which will appeal to all members of our EM MDT.
